Design has always captivated me, especially the usability aspect, but for a long time, I didn’t have the courage to pursue it as a career. In 2023, I discovered UX/UI design and was immediately drawn to its combination of visual appeal and usability. I realized it was time to turn this dream into reality.

When I finally decided to pursue my dream of becoming a designer, I started my self-taught journey, deepening my knowledge through books, industry articles, and various smaller courses related to design, branding, UX/UI, and product design. Driven by curiosity, I absorbed as much as I could.

Continuing along my path of learning about design, I completed a "Digital Designer" course made by Design Practice. During three months of intense learning and playful exploration in design, I went beyond theory to develop hands-on skills that now make me confident in crafting modern and intuitive user interfaces.

Since April, I took a step further by starting a mentoring collaboration with an experienced designer, who helped me create a plan and strategy for entering the industry. Later on, I connected with the Lead UX Designer at GFT Technologies, who mentored me and gave me invaluable guidance on portfolio development and design work.

AIDEAS - AI competence development program
AIDEAS - AI competence development program
Due to the growing popularity of AI tools, I decided to take part in a 2-month program called "AIDEAS". In the first month, I explored the potential and limitations of AI as well as how to use AI-based tools ethically and safely to integrate them effectively into a designer’s daily workflow. In the second part of the program, together with my team, I designed a Proof of Concept for AI agents whose goal was to transform complex banking regulations and contracts into clear, accessible language while maintaining accessibility standards.

In August, I joined the Digital Competence Foundation, which supports NGOs in developing their IT infrastructure, creating websites, and building mobile applications. As a UX/UI Designer volunteer, I collaborate with the team to design websites for other NGOs, gaining real hands-on experience in project work.
